Multi-Doctor stories are always something special, I think. Once upon a time, they only occurred when there was an anniversary to celebrate and the producers wanted fan favourites back. Nowadays, they often provide satisfying twists and surprises, particularly when nothing has been leaked in advance. Without getting into spoiler mode, there were one or two episodes from the modern series which caused me to gasp when another Doctor showed up!
