The Sixth Doctor’s tenure on television may have been short, but Season 22 absolutely packet it all in. Season 18 is a series of changes. The Fourth Doctor is on his way out and the sense of foreboding builds and builds to the climax in Logopolis. This month, we sadly lost Christopher H Bidmead, former script editor and writer of Season 18 of Doctor Who. I have always liked Season 18, particularly its intention to stride out on a different direction in Tom Baker’s final year. That takes guts, I think.
