The Doctor has had a hell of a lot of companions over the years on TV – and even more on audio. It was a real thrill when some of the audio companions got namechecked onscreen during the Fiftieth Anniversary because to many fans they are just as important as their television counterparts. Of course, the Big Finish audios have also given us more time with TV companions too, especially when the original actors are sadly no longer with us. It’s extraordinary that the daughters of two original actresses have taken on their mother’s roles. How wonderful. You’ll find them in the crossword below, by the way… hint hint… Code Nine x
