Who doesn’t love the TARDIS? I particularly like TARDIS-centric episodes where we get to see extra rooms and corridors of the Doctor’s vast time machine. It’s always intriguing what’s in there – wardrobe rooms, bedrooms, a swimming pool, a library, an art gallery, the cloisters… It’s why Castrovalva Part One is way up there for me because we get to spend so much time in it! I also like the idea that the TARDIS is somehow alive. In The Doctor’s Wife, she tells the Doctor that she always took him where he needed to be rather than where he wanted to go. In that respect, the TARDIS is as much a main character as our favourite Time Lord. So, let’s get lost in those corridors again and test our knowledge of that old Type 40 time capsule! – Code Nine x
